Wednesday, February 2nd

I should entitle this:
WHAT WAS I THINKING?
When we signed up for the Dolphin Swim, the girls were also going to go to Dunn's River Falls - a famous and popular attraction in Jamaica - there was a half day option which we liked so of course I decided to go too!
Left the hotel at 8:00 am and drove east this time for about 2 hours.  Another opportunity to see the countryside - the Falls are in the Parish of St. Ann.
As we got closer and got our instruction about what would take place I thought Yikes! I had thought that I could enjoy the Falls - get a bit wet - take a few pictures etc.!

Well, we climbed the Falls in a line holding on to the ones in our group - half way up I didn't think I could finish - I said I'm one week away from my 65th birthday!  Our guide said yes you will - I'll help!  So in the end I did climb - and the second part was easier than the first!  I have the video to prove it --and it wasn't photo shopped!!

We got back to the hotel at 3:00 time for a rest, another swim and then supper.  And now a chance to write in the blog.
Tomorrow is my last full day here.  Not sure if I'll write anything tomorrow.

Monday, January 31st - Dolphin Day!

What an exciting day!  We left the hotel at 10:30 am and were driven west to the town of Lucea to the new Dolphin Cove.  After our introduction, we headed down to the water, donned our life jacket and jumped into the water!  Our first encounter was being pushed through the water by our feet!  2 dolphins noses were pressed at the bottom of our feet  and they carried us forward!  It was a great experience and I have a video of the entire thing!

The ride to Lucea, about 45 minutes away, gave us a chance to see more of the countryside and a couple of the small towns.
Back at the hotel in the late afternoon for more swimming and an early night!

Tuesday, was a day to relax and enjoy the sun, the water, the food, the drinks and I treated myself to a massage.  One of my favourite drinks - the Pina Colada!!
